Kuraby Dentists is dedicated to providing affordable dental care without compromising on our commitment to quality. We use the latest technology and dental techniques to develop a treatment plan that works for you. We understand that dental anxiety is very overwhelming for some people, so we strive to deliver gentle, compassionate care and completely pain-free dental solutions.

At your appointment, we’ll discuss treatment options with you at length, and we’ll work to find a dental solution that fits within your budget. In addition, we’re a preferred provider for Medibank, Bupa, HCF, HBSC, and TUH, so if you have a private health fund, you can access your benefits with us. We also take Metro South Health hospital vouchers and see Department of Veteran Affairs patients.

Dr Noori Nahrin

Dr. Noori Nahrin is a gentle and soft-spoken general dentist with a special interest in children’s dentistry.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, a renowned Orthodontist in Bangladesh, Dr. Noori obtained her BDS(Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2009 from Bangladesh Dental College.

After emigrating to Australia, she successfully completed the Australian Dental Council Exam and registered with AHPRA in 2018. She has been practicing dentistry in both public and private sectors in Australia.

As a clinical supervisor at Griffith University Dental Clinic, Dr. Noori shares her expertise with 4th and 5th-year students, inspiring the next generation of dentists. She has a special interest in paediatric dentistry and is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD).

Outside of her busy schedule, she cherishes time with her young boys and explores her creative side through writing and painting.

Dr Keerthi Naidu

Dr Keerthi Naidu graduated with distinction from the prestigious University of Otago, New Zealand, in 2007 with various awards and prizes for her academic and clinical excellence. She has been working for over 11 years in Darwin and Gold Coast with experience in public and well-reputed private practices. She believes in providing “gentle” dentistry and quality patient care and service to ensure long term outcomes. Her core treatment philosophy is to make a visible difference in the lives of her patients so that they can be inspired to smile. She represents a biologically focused approach to dentistry, understanding and treating the strong links between oral health and overall well-being.

She offers a full range of treatments, from general family dentistry to complex rehabilitation of all age groups. Alongside cosmetic dentistry, she is also trained in the dental management of Sleep Apnoea and Snoring and CEREC (single visit crowns). She is also great with kids. Her empathetic and compassionate nature makes her a popular choice for dentally anxious and phobic patients. She prides herself on helping such people to feel at ease and relaxed during their treatment. She also works alongside medical doctors/specialists and allied health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for her patients. Dr Naidu regularly stays up to date with the latest methods and research through continuing professional development.

Keerthi enjoys socialising with her family and friends, cooking for her loved ones, watching movies, and travelling in her spare time.

Dr Jasmeen Kaur

Jasmeen practised in Sydney and the Sunshine Coast before moving to Brisbane. She graduated with honours from the University of Otago New Zealand in 2007, having won numerous prizes and awards for her academic achievements throughout her degree. Dr Kaur worked for six years in the heart of Sydney CBD, Neutral Bay and Glebe for practices that were amongst the largest owned practices in Australia. She also worked for three years at her own practice in the Sunshine Coast that covered all aspects of dentistry.


Dr Kaur’s interests include Functional Orthodontics (generally without extraction of teeth), TMJ (disorders of the jaw relating to head and neck pain), cosmetic dentistry (including crowns,  veneers, and teeth whitening) and children’s dentistry. Dr Kaur takes a holistic approach to dentistry and is always conscious of the impact on general health and wellbeing. She likes practising dentistry with an approach of the whole body in mind. She works with countries best osteopaths, chiropractors, naturopaths and nutritionists. Jasmeen completed her two-year mini-residency in orthodontics in 2013. She uses removable and fixed appliances to create balance and facial harmony.


One thing Dr Kaur really enjoys is being able to help patients who have dental phobias. She is passionate about helping nervous patients overcome their fears of the dentist and regain good dental health and all the benefits it can bring. Apart from Dentistry, her other interests include cooking, painting, reading, yoga, travelling with her young family and educating herself about well-being and how to live a holistic lifestyle.

Dr Laura Truong

Dr Laura Truong studied at Griffith University, graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. Laura possesses a calm, caring and gentle demeanour which allows her to put the minds of anxious and nervous clientele at ease.


She aspires to help patients achieve a healthy smile that is both aesthetic and functional in nature. This patient-centricity is synonymous with her reputation as a competent dentist in Kuraby. Dr Troung is proficient in all aspects of modern dental care with a particular focus on prosthodontics, paediatrics and oral surgery. Aside from dentistry, Laura is an avid rock climber, foodie and loves spending time with family.

Dr Chitra Ramamurthy

Dr Chitra Ramamurthy obtained a Bachelor of Dental Science from India’s finest dental establishments in 2004.

Throughout her illustrious career, Chitra has operated under a variety of dental roles including a general practitioner in public and private practices as well as a clinical demonstrator at Griffith Dental School.

Dr Ramamurthy is a compassionate and caring Kuraby dentist who prides herself on having a gentle yet thorough approach towards dentistry and strives to ensure her patients receive a pain free dental experience.

Chitra is particularly drawn towards conservative, preventative dentistry and root canal therapy. She is also a stern advocate of professional development training in order to stay abreast of cutting edge dental techniques and procedures.
